Who We Are

If you are visiting this website, chances are someone important/special to you has died or you are preparing for a death. We are a supportive community who understands grief. We have all been there. We hope you will find that these pages are a comfort and a place to remember those we love, as well as a resource for information about BFO – Kingston Region’s programs and services. We believe that when bereaved families come together to support one another, they can influence the growth of a healing and caring community.

Update:

Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region continues to offer both group and one-to-one peer support with phone conversations, video conferencing or in-person (with COVID protocols in place) during the ongoing pandemic. Please call or email for more information, or to register.

The office is open most days between 9:30am and 2:30pm, but we suggest calling ahead to ensure someone is there before arriving. Phone and email continue to be the most reliable way to contact us; voicemails and emails will be replied to within two business days.
