Who We Are
If you are visiting this website, chances are someone important/special to you has died or you are preparing for a death. We are a supportive community who understands grief. We have all been there. We hope you will find that these pages are a comfort and a place to remember those we love, as well as a resource for information about BFO – Kingston Region’s programs and services. We believe that when bereaved families come together to support one another, they can influence the growth of a healing and caring community.

Winter Holiday Update:

Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region will continue to respond to voicemails and emails within two business days over the next two weeks. Please reach out to us if you would like to begin the registration process or have any questions about the grief support we offer.

Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region continues to offer both group and one-to-one peer support with phone conversations, video conferencing or in-person (with COVID protocols in place) during the ongoing pandemic. Please call or email for more information, or to register.

The office is open most days between 9:30am and 2:30pm, but we suggest calling ahead to ensure someone is there before arriving. Phone and email continue to be the most reliable way to contact us; voicemails and emails will be replied to within two business days.
