Who We Are

If you are visiting this website, chances are someone important/special to you has died or you are preparing for a death. We are a supportive community who understands grief. We have all been there. We hope you will find that these pages are a comfort and a place to remember those we love, as well as a resource for information about BFO – Kingston Region’s programs and services. We believe that when bereaved families come together to support one another, they can influence the growth of a healing and caring community.

COVID-19 Update:

This is a difficult time for all of us, particularly those grieving during the isolation of COVID-19.

Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region will continue to offer group support on Zoom, and one-to-one peer support with phone conversations or video conferencing during the pandemic. Please call or email for more information, or to register.

During the summer we are working remotely most days. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding. Please contact us to make an appointment to come into the office. Voicemails and emails will be returned by the next business day.
