Bereaved Families of Ontario - Kingston Region
If you are visiting this website, chances are someone important/special to you has died or you are preparing for a death. We are a supportive community who understands grief. We have all been there. We hope you will find that these pages are a comfort and a place to remember those we love, as well as a resource for information about BFO – Kingston Region’s programs and services. We believe that when bereaved families come together to support one another, they can influence the growth of a healing and caring community.
June 2021 Update:
During the month of June, you can help Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region have a chance to win $20, 000 with the Great Canadian Giving Challenge! Every dollar you donate through CanadaHelps not only supports BFO – Kingston Region, allowing us to continue to provide free grief support to everyone who needs it in the community, but it also gives us a chance to WIN! If you’ve been thinking of making a donation, now is the perfect time to make every dollar count extra. Remember, we receive no government funding and instead rely on grants, fundraisers and donations from corporations and people like you! Your donation will help us continue to run grief support groups, provide one-to-one grief support, do community outreach, train new volunteers, and more. Every $1 you donate enters us to win. The more you give, the more chances for us to win! Give today: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/t/62501
This is a difficult time for all of us, particularly those grieving during the isolation of COVID-19.
Bereaved Families of Ontario – Kingston Region will continue to offer group support on Zoom, and one-to-one peer support with phone conversations or video conferencing during the pandemic. Please call or email for more information, or to register.
